Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and influence the direction of a small team in target tracking and state estimation.
- Prototype and deploy algorithms for tracking and multi-sensor data fusion.
- Develop high-performance software for real-time systems and simulation environments.
- Design robust filters and probabilistic reasoning systems for sensor data.
- Analyze system performance using simulations and statistical techniques.
- Customize algorithms for mission-critical use cases.
- Integrate technologies into the software development lifecycle.
- Translate technical progress into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in algorithm design, software development, and statistical modeling.
- Expertise in C/C++, Python, and Matlab programming.
- Strong knowledge of target tracking techniques like Kalman filters and particle filters.
- Experience in state estimation and sensor fusion.
- Solid understanding of applied mathematics, including linear algebra and probability.
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques for diverse sensor data.
- Familiarity with big data pipelines and NoSQL databases.
- Background in machine learning for target tracking and recognition.
- Ability to engineer robust systems for estimation theory and adaptive filtering.
- Eligible for an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
