Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage scalable, secure, and automated cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Automate cloud database provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and day-two operations.
- Lead data conversion and migration activities across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Integrate cloud services and databases with security, workflow, and orchestration frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in GitHub.
- Support IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud platform infrastructure services.
- Develop Lambda functions, Step Functions workflows, and IAM policies and deploy them through IaC pipelines.
- Collaborate with application development, data engineering, security architecture, and platform operations teams.
- Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, and testing.
- Design AI-enabled automation solutions using agentic AI frameworks for data engineering, reporting, and operational processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of overall IT experience with hands-on code development and database management systems experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python, AWS CLI or SDK, API development or integration, SQL or NoSQL, JavaScript, Node.js, PySpark, AWS Glue jobs, and AI frameworks or models.
- Experience with AWS cloud-native databases such as Amazon RDS and DynamoDB, as well as cloud-agnostic relational database platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Working knowledge of AWS compute, storage, networking, security, and IAM services, plus serverless and event-driven architectures.
- At least 2 years of experience with agentic AI solutions, prompt engineering, LLMs, RAG, and AI governance principles.
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning, vector databases, MLOps basics, RAG, and model serving for AI-focused FDE work.
- Preferred experience includes 3 or more years with multiple AWS IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services and with infrastructure or database automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Python.
- Preferred experience includes CI/CD and configuration-management tools such as Chef, CloudBees, Puppet, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, and Ansible.
- Preferred experience includes automation scripting with Python, JavaScript, Angular, Ruby, and Ansible.
- Experience with AWS strategy, business-case development, application assessment, and migration planning is preferred.
- Working knowledge of AWS security and compliance and exposure to Starburst data virtualization are preferred.
- Experience with AWS Glue, DataSync, and Apache Airflow is preferred.
- Experience with PowerShell, Rust, React, Django, web services, and REST APIs is preferred.
- AWS Associate or Professional certification is a strong plus.
