Responsibilities

  • Own the connector and service integration layer for company-wide AI workflows.
  • Design and ship isolated, access-controlled execution environments for agents and higher-autonomy workflows.
  • Build reusable platform services, golden paths, and self-service templates for AI development.
  • Productize onboarding for developers and non-developers without relying on manual intervention or tribal knowledge.
  • Define and enforce standards for agent execution, evaluation loops, and deployment.
  • Partner with Security and IT on deployable patterns for higher-risk AI capabilities.
  • Own governance controls including access management, audit trails, approval criteria, and deployment boundaries.
  • Set reliability, observability, and operational standards for AI infrastructure.
  • Serve as the technical escalation point for onboarding and platform issues.
  • Turn exception handling and individual heroics into repeatable operational paths.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in software, platform, infrastructure, or adjacent engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems such as LLM-powered workflows, tool-calling agents, evaluation loops, or autonomous execution using frameworks such as the Claude SDK, Google Agent Development Kit, or LangGraph.
  • Direct experience with GCP and strong experience with APIs, authentication, OAuth, secrets, CLI tooling, and deployment patterns.
  • Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code in cloud-native systems.
  • Experience implementing AI governance controls including access boundaries, audit logging, approval workflows, and safe deployment standards.
  • Preferred qualifications include production agentic systems with external tool access, Google Agent Engine or Vertex AI Agent Builder, Cursor or Claude Code, agent sandboxing and evaluation frameworks, self-service developer platforms, startup experience, and familiarity with fintech or regulated environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across engineering, security, and non-technical stakeholders are required.
