$100k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build Agentforce custom invocable Apex actions, prompt templates, and grounding logic for customer-360 transactions.
- Develop Apex REST services and use GraphQL and Connect APIs according to platform versioning and deprecation guidelines.
- Implement OAuth 2.0 authentication and secret-handling flows, including JWT bearer, client credentials, and refresh-token rotation.
- Develop with SFDX, source tracking, scratch orgs, and automated Apex test execution within team CI gates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project leads, and PMs to refine requirements, identify risks and dependencies, and translate objectives into solutions.
- Produce and review architecture diagrams, API documentation, design decisions, and runbooks with the platform lead.
- Use AI tooling while understanding and validating all merged code, with code review, pairing support, and regression testing.
- Deploy changes through DevOps Center with approval gates.
- Diagnose production issues using logs, debug logs, Event Monitoring, and data, and review root causes and fixes with the team.
- Track project development in Azure DevOps and support tickets in Jira Service Management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building on the Salesforce platform, or 3 years of related experience with a Master’s degree, a PhD without required experience, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience developing Salesforce APIs, including custom Apex REST/SOAP services, Connect REST API, or GraphQL.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce OAuth 2.0, connected apps, JWT bearer and client credentials flows, and Named/External Credentials.
- Experience with asynchronous Apex, including Queueable, Batch, and Platform Events, plus governor limits, bulkification, and query performance.
- Knowledge of secure Salesforce coding practices, including CRUD/FLS enforcement, Apex sharing models, SOQL injection prevention, CORS, and CSP Trusted Sites.
- Experience with source-driven development using SFDX and Git.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems through middleware or direct APIs.
- Clear written communication skills for design documents, API specifications, and explanations for non-developer stakeholders.
- Preferred: JavaScript framework experience with React, Next.js, or similar.
- Preferred: familiarity with Service Cloud, Salesforce Knowledge, Experience Cloud, LWR sites, custom LWCs, external user licenses, sharing sets, and guest user access.
- Preferred: familiarity with the Certinia PSA data model and middleware such as Boomi or MuleSoft.
- Preferred: exposure to SOX-regulated or otherwise audited environments.
