Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of the software development lifecycle for assigned deliverables, from requirements and analysis through testing and deployment.
- Develop hands-on solutions using Java and Scala.
- Work with the securities lending trading desk to gather requirements, innovate, and architect solutions across on-premises and public cloud environments.
- Manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
- Collaborate extensively with trading business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Java or Scala with a strong background in algorithms and data structures.
- Experience working directly with a front-office trading function.
- Knowledge of relational database design and SQL.
- Advanced understanding of the relevant business line and discipline, with some awareness of the competitive environment and other disciplines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
