Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build minimum viable tests and functional prototypes for novel AI agent concepts.
- Execute targeted technical spikes to validate feasibility and resolve architectural hurdles during four-week exploratory sprints.
- Prototype and evaluate agentic systems involving planning, memory, context management, tool use, and loops.
- Blend software engineering, product management, research, data science, and UX research responsibilities.
- Prioritize rapid learning and prototyping to evaluate user value, strategic value, and technical feasibility.
- Analyze early technical and user signals to assess project viability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML field.
- At least 3 years of end-to-end machine learning experience, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, and debugging.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
