Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for R&D EDA systems supporting physical design.
- Analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, and work processes to identify improvements.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, deployment, user training, and support.
- Develop maintainable code, source-code documentation, user documentation, and automated tests.
- Use modern software IDEs, continuous integration systems, automated testing, and AI coding tools.
- Deliver high-quality results on schedule while contributing to team and organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s pathway: 3+ years of RF/analog integrated-circuit, RF front-end module design, and RF laboratory equipment testing experience, plus 2+ years of ASIC/RF design, verification, or related experience.
- Master’s pathway: 1+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related experience.
- PhD pathway: PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundation in software development, software design, development fundamentals, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of Python, Perl, and/or Bash scripting.
- Preferred experience with C++ using STL and Boost.
- Basic knowledge of GUI and database design and familiarity with the Linux operating system.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and user-needs translation skills.
