Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions within existing application frameworks.
- Translate business and technical requirements into efficient, scalable implementations.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and data transformation processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and data-related issues.
- Collaborate with regulatory analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to system enhancements, performance improvements, product development, estimation, planning, testing, and deployment.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of large-scale regulatory data products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using object-oriented programming languages, preferably C#.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience designing and supporting data-centric applications.
- Familiarity with large datasets and data processing concepts.
- Preferred experience with big data technologies, data management practices, XML, XSLT, Oracle Database, Git, technical specifications, and documentation.
- Preferred knowledge of regulatory, chemical, environmental, or product stewardship domains and multilingual datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; fluency in English is required.
