Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support of insurance front-end solutions and back-end integrations.
- Drive the project’s technical execution to achieve committed scope and timelines.
- Monitor and report technical progress, issues, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Establish and maintain digital and microservice reference architectures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients, business stakeholders, developers, QA, DevOps, IT infrastructure, and technical SMEs.
- Recognize, evaluate, and advise on technical debt and its impact on decision-making.
- Provide technical guidance and help develop team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- At least 5 years of experience in Java EE development and design patterns.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills, including the ability to provide technical guidance.
- Experience implementing applications using REST and other API technologies.
- Experience implementing enterprise authentication frameworks such as WSO2, OAuth2, JWT, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of application security and OWASP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, open-source relational databases, NoSQL, Kafka, AWS, and Node.js is a plus.
- Financial-industry domain knowledge is a strong plus.
- Strong English verbal and written communication, technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and consultative skills.
