Responsibilities
- Build a 3DS infrastructure service to enhance payment processing capabilities.
- Collaborate with various systems and teams to establish a robust global payment infrastructure.
- Engage with engineering teams across Airwallex's global offices.
- Collaborate with users and financial partners for seamless integration.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs, services, and systems for reliable payment processing.
- Troubleshoot production issues across different levels of the stack.
- Take ownership of and optimize critical components within the online payment processing flow.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience (5 years for senior role).
- Strong skills in designing elegant systems, particularly in the financial industry.
- Aptitude for system thinking and writing high-quality code, preferably in Kotlin.
- High standards for working with production systems.
- Adherence to best practices in engineering, security, and design.
- Ability to thrive in collaborative environments with diverse stakeholders.
