Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, document, develop, implement, test, and maintain complex applications.
- Ensure applications meet departmental standards and include appropriate controls, audit trails, and production-readiness testing.
- Document current and future business processes and identify process gaps.
- Translate user requirements into technical designs and development projects.
- Develop technical and functional architecture for applications and interfaces, including field mapping and data transformation.
- Assist with data conversion field identification and lead project teams and end users through data validation.
- Document and resolve project issues in collaboration with project teams.
- Monitor and support user acceptance testing, application training, and ongoing technical support.
- Provide technical documentation, specifications, and infrastructure requirements for development projects.
- Research emerging technologies and perform feasibility analyses for alternative solutions.
- Perform project management activities including estimating, sequencing, critical path analysis, resource assignment, and conflict resolution.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Progress 4GL programming, CIM Loads, and QXTEND.
- Experience with QAD ERP systems, including SE and EE versions.
- Preferred bachelor's degree with 8+ years or master's degree with 5+ years of relevant computer programming experience.
- Ability to perform systems analysis, technical architecture, application development, integration design, testing, and project leadership.
