Responsibilities
- Build, test, debug, and maintain core License Manager capabilities using Go and C++.
- Deliver features, fixes, and enhancements from design through implementation and completion.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure code with strong unit and integration test coverage.
- Investigate product and production issues, identify root causes, and contribute to durable fixes.
- Analyze performance across latency, throughput, memory use, concurrency, and failure modes.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product management, support, and engineering partners.
- Improve system behavior and grow ownership over broader technical areas over time.
Requirements
- Strong, recent hands-on Go experience building scalable, reliable production services.
- Experience with distributed systems, APIs, secure service-to-service communication, and production support.
- Ability to reason about performance, including latency, throughput, memory use, concurrency, and failure modes.
- Strong testing, debugging, and production-troubleshooting skills.
- Previous C++ experience sufficient to read, understand, and diagnose behavior in an existing performance-sensitive C++ codebase is preferred.
- Experience integrating Go services with legacy systems or modernizing C++ systems is preferred.
- Experience investigating production performance or reliability issues is preferred.
- Python experience for test development, test tooling, and automation is preferred.
- Familiarity with licensing, entitlements, metering, or commercial-platform systems is preferred.
- Experience with observability and incident response is preferred.
