Responsibilities
- Understand client and product requirements and convert them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications and modules.
- Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and usage cases to validate software and identify defects.
- Automate software validation processes and ensure code meets quality and project standards.
- Perform root cause analysis, resolve system issues, and recommend performance or system improvements.
- Coordinate with project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, and clients.
- Document solutions using specifications, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, reports, and other formal documentation.
- Provide project status updates, MIS reports, progress tracking, and delivery reporting.
- Capture client clarifications, gather feedback, respond to customer requests, and support customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certification activities to maintain current programming skills.
Requirements
- Mandatory experience with Oracle Application Express.
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications.
- Ability to analyze requirements, investigate problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop feasible software solutions.
- Experience creating test cases and automating software validation.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, systems analysts, functional teams, and engineering staff.
- Strong documentation, reporting, customer communication, and software quality practices.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, training, and skill-upgrading certifications.
