Base Salary
$230k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Iterate on features using Scala and React in an agile manner.
- Build core systems within a microservices architecture.
- Ship code quickly and iterate on features.
- Collaborate with diverse teams and provide feedback.
- Execute on opportunities to enhance Hopper's market position.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and architectural performance.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to write testable, high-quality code.
- Prior cloud experience is required.
- Experience with Scala and/or React is preferred.
- Background in the airline/travel industry or eCommerce is a plus.
- Familiarity with UX design tools like Figma is beneficial.
