Responsibilities

Own and contribute to the architecture and hands-on development of enterprise Java applications.
Develop client and server components, integration logic, high-performance processing, and new platforms while modernizing legacy systems.
Design and optimize backend services, data models, application modularization, and scalable system architectures.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, automated builds, deployments, and releases.
Ensure code quality, test coverage, performance, reliability, production stability, and continuous improvement.
Provide technical guidance, onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer across distributed development teams.
Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, architecture, business, and IT stakeholders in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

8+ years of enterprise Java development and DevOps experience.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience with software architecture and hands-on development.
Experience with Java 11 or Java 17, Java EE or Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, PostgreSQL, and WildFly Application Server.
Experience with JPA/Hibernate, JPQL, CriteriaBuilder, object-oriented design, design patterns, Clean Code, and legacy system evolution.
Experience with Git-based workflows, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Maven, and Eclipse Tycho.
Experience working across distributed delivery teams and collaborating with technical and operational stakeholders.
Experience in regulated or complex operational environments such as forensics or LIMS is preferred.
