Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end solutions for the customer journey from initial contact through obtaining a first policy.
- Help more customers self-serve when getting their first policy.
- Implement and follow up on robust analytics to identify customer pain points.
- Collaborate across marketing, product, and engineering.
- Deploy production code quickly and iteratively build solutions.
Requirements
- Prior experience working effectively in a complex codebase is expected, although no specific minimum number of years is required.
- Experience building web applications and analyzing data to improve customer experiences.
- Ability to learn new languages and frameworks quickly; prior experience with Steadily’s specific stack is not required.
- Product-oriented engineering mindset with thoughtful opinions about user experience and willingness to shape solutions without fully specified requirements.
- Pragmatic approach that balances delivery speed, quality, and appropriate use of off-the-shelf versus custom solutions.
- Past experience as a team lead is a plus.
