Base Salary
$190k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build major features for the Flipturn Controller, an onsite control computer for EV charging and energy management.
- Integrate EV charging with onsite batteries, generators, utility programs, and other control sources.
- Upgrade embedded Linux systems, including build tooling, bootloaders, and board bring-up.
- Develop firmware and full-stack improvements for Flipturn’s energy-management platform.
- Gather customer feedback, help drive the vision of the EV charging platform, and contribute to engineering team culture.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of firmware development experience.
- Experience with embedded Linux systems, including Yocto or similar build tooling, bootloaders, and board bring-up.
- Interest in firmware and hardware projects as well as full-stack product development.
- Experience working on a fast-moving technology team and delivering products and features end to end.
- Interest in using AI tools to accelerate software development.
