Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement software according to coding guidelines while optimizing performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Evaluate and test personal work, software from other engineering staff, and third-party software.
- Create technical documentation for software design, implementation, and testing.
- Participate in design review meetings and follow software development procedures.
- Document and repair software errors.
- Work with cross-functional project teams to complete Product Engineering projects with minimal guidance.
- Use source code management and work-tracking tools such as GitHub and JIRA.
- Develop effective working relationships with peers and team members and pursue ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
- At least 5 years of increasing responsibility in Research & Development roles with substantial coding experience.
- Full-stack engineering experience spanning front-end and back-end development.
- Experience with multiple database implementations, including relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with Java, Go, or comparable programming languages such as C, C++, or C#.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
- Preferred: experience with Agile development environments, healthcare environments, public cloud technologies, REST, RPC, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
- Preferred: experience with monitoring, observability, systems management, centralized logging, security and authentication frameworks, messaging platforms, and microservices architecture.
