Responsibilities
- Build and ship features for the AI Assistant and Orchestration products, including agents, tools, and approval steps.
- Add evaluation cases for AI behavior to detect quality degradation caused by prompt and model changes before release.
- Develop across the web stack using Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node, and related technologies.
- Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude and Codex for development, problem-solving, documentation, and productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams and contribute ideas for applying technology to AlertMedia’s products.
- Work in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack.
- Troubleshoot and remediate production issues and contribute to architectural evolution for a critical application.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience building scalable web applications, preferably with Python, Django, React, and Node.
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features involving agents, tool or function calling, MCP or similar integrations, retrieval, and prompt and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with agentic design patterns and frameworks such as Strands, AutoGen, and LangChain.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services is required.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies is required.
- Established practice writing unit and integration tests.
- Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex across the development lifecycle.
- Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, cross-functional, and production troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and oral English proficiency is required.
