Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Lead process improvements that enhance code quality, team efficiency, and delivery predictability.
- Mentor and coach engineers across all levels.
- Design, build, and maintain user-facing application features.
- Develop and operate scalable backend services, data pipelines, and distributed systems on AWS.
- Apply AI and automation to improve data quality, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Improve developer tooling, infrastructure provisioning, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve architecture, performance, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing web applications, web services, and data pipelines.
- Full-stack experience building and maintaining scalable frontend and backend systems.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Go, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
- Experience with cloud development, deployment, and architecture, including CircleCI, Kafka, Kubernetes, GraphQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment practices, monitoring, incident alerting, and service reliability practices.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and schema/database design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage projects, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders.
