Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, reliable AI-powered tools and platforms using LLMs, RAG, and MCP.
- Architect AI tooling and pipelines covering retrieval design, model orchestration, safety guardrails, backend integrations, data validation, anomaly detection, and automated quality gates.
- Define coding and documentation standards for Python services and AI-assisted development, and conduct code and design reviews.
- Develop and maintain software solutions, own epics and tasks, and delegate work to support timely delivery.
- Create performance testing and monitoring strategies, instrument metrics and health endpoints, and optimize reliability, latency, and cost.
- Lead onboarding, training, mentoring, and coaching while serving as a subject matter expert.
- Coordinate with system architects, platform, UI, product, data, and QA teams to deliver platform improvements and core OS features.
- Lead incident triage and root-cause analysis across logging, telemetry, and developer tooling.
- Translate company strategy into an engineering roadmap, align stakeholders, and make delivery and architecture tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related occupation.
- At least 1 year of experience building and integrating AI tooling using agents and Model Context Protocol or equivalents, including adapters, authentication, auditing, and lifecycle management.
- At least 1 year of experience developing and evaluating prompts and systems involving grounding, citation, hallucination mitigation, red-teaming, and A/B experimentation.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and delivering user interfaces focused on clarity, discoverability, minimal friction, and consistent interaction patterns.
- At least 1 year of experience optimizing performance through latency and throughput tuning, asynchronous and concurrency patterns, profiling, and device-cloud considerations.
- At least 1 year of experience with system design, tradeoff analysis, architectural patterns, and code reviews.
- At least 1 year of experience with Python services, Linux, cloud-native stacks, concurrency or async I/O, and modern networking for AI workloads.
