Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver software applications and features using Golang and React.
- Build and maintain scalable solutions within a distributed architecture.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design products and deliver features to market.
- Develop and collect metrics to support continuous product improvement.
- Deliver high-quality, testable features that meet reporting standards.
- Lead small development teams as needed to bring projects to market.
- Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams on internal and customer-facing problems.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Experience building and serving APIs using Go, Java, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience with distributed, cloud-based architectures and transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience bringing new ideas forward and building consensus.
- Experience with SQL-based relational databases through an ORM tool.
- Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog.
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerized microservice architectures deployed with Kubernetes on AWS.
- Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
- A record of taking products to market and prioritizing improvements based on stakeholder and customer feedback.
