Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production environments.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Partner directly with enterprise customers and startups to understand business challenges and build solutions.
- Prototype tools and features and use customer insights to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
- Build multimodal voice, chat, mobile, booking, recommendation, payment, reservation, and integration experiences.
- Modernize legacy reservation systems and create packages that optimize trip queries and updates.
- Collaborate with research, product, platform, voice, and Experience SDK teams.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder’s and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency and a focus on shipping.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excitement about the travel space and improving the guest experience.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Experience building or deploying AI or LLM systems in production is a plus.
- Founder or founding-engineer experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is a plus.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is a plus.
- Previous customer-facing or external technical-project leadership experience is a plus.
