Responsibilities
- Design and implement production-grade AI solutions for document understanding, client onboarding automation, and KYC processes.
- Build and deploy LLM-powered extraction, summarization, classification, OCR, and document intelligence frameworks.
- Develop reusable AI modules, APIs, data ingestion pipelines, and preprocessing workflows for adoption across operations functions.
- Design, optimize, monitor, and retrain AI models to maintain accuracy, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business and operations stakeholders to translate requirements into effective AI solutions.
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with data privacy, governance, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Explore emerging AI frameworks and technologies and potentially lead an expanding AI team as solutions scale.
Requirements
- At least four years of AI/ML experience, including at least four years in NLP, Document AI, or Generative AI.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, including classification, clustering, entity extraction, and semantic similarity.
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, scikit-learn, HuggingFace Transformers, and spaCy.
- Experience building document intelligence solutions involving classification, OCR, key-value extraction, and summarization.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pandas, and data ingestion and preprocessing pipelines.
- Experience deploying AI models to production, including lifecycle management and monitoring.
- Experience with FastAPI or Flask, Docker, and API integration.
- Strong experience with LLM workflows, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLM fine-tuning.
- Familiarity with Tesseract, Amazon Textract, Azure Form Recognizer, or Google Document AI.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes banking client onboarding, KYC/AML, document verification, corporate onboarding documentation, and regulated-domain compliance.
- Preferred experience includes LayoutLMv3, Donut, DocFormer, advanced NER/entity linking, and integrations with OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, LLaMA, or Mistral.
- A Ph.D. or advanced AI specialization and experience collaborating with operations, data engineering, and low-code teams are preferred.
