Responsibilities

Build, refactor, maintain, and technically own genestack.com on MODX CMS hosted on AWS.
Perform maintenance, bug fixes, upgrades, deployments, hosting management, performance work, and stability improvements.
Partner with the designer to implement responsive, accessible pages and reusable UI components.
Monitor website performance and analytics, support technical SEO, and recommend improvements.
Maintain cookie and consent tooling such as Enzuzo.
Maintain website security, backups, form integrations, and CRM integrations such as Salesforce.
Identify technical risks and recommend pragmatic, durable solutions while communicating proactively with internal stakeholders.

Proven experience building and maintaining production websites over time.
Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills with responsive and accessible web development experience.
Hands-on experience with PHP-based CMS platforms comparable to MODX.
Experience with Git, deployment workflows, hosting, and basic performance monitoring.
Understanding of website security, backups, technical SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
Ability to build and maintain form integrations, particularly with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
Practical experience using modern AI-assisted development tools with sound engineering judgment.
Experience collaborating directly with designers and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent English.
Direct MODX and AWS experience, plus familiarity with website analytics and cookie or consent management tools, are preferred.

Freelance consulting engagement on a long-term retainer basis of approximately 10 hours per month.
Additional hours may be agreed separately for larger website projects, redesigns, and technical improvements.
Opportunity to own the technical side of an established company website and influence its long-term evolution.
