Responsibilities
- Build, refactor, maintain, and technically own genestack.com on MODX CMS hosted on AWS.
- Perform maintenance, bug fixes, upgrades, deployments, hosting management, performance work, and stability improvements.
- Partner with the designer to implement responsive, accessible pages and reusable UI components.
- Monitor website performance and analytics, support technical SEO, and recommend improvements.
- Maintain cookie and consent tooling such as Enzuzo.
- Maintain website security, backups, form integrations, and CRM integrations such as Salesforce.
- Identify technical risks and recommend pragmatic, durable solutions while communicating proactively with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and maintaining production websites over time.
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills with responsive and accessible web development experience.
- Hands-on experience with PHP-based CMS platforms comparable to MODX.
- Experience with Git, deployment workflows, hosting, and basic performance monitoring.
- Understanding of website security, backups, technical SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ability to build and maintain form integrations, particularly with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Practical experience using modern AI-assisted development tools with sound engineering judgment.
- Experience collaborating directly with designers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English.
- Direct MODX and AWS experience, plus familiarity with website analytics and cookie or consent management tools, are preferred.
