Responsibilities
- Partner with product management and cross-functional teams to implement and improve technical solutions.
- Work with design teams to define and implement user experiences.
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept with technical leaders.
- Own assigned features across the full vertical, end-to-end development lifecycle.
- Manage assigned tasks and on-call duties.
- Contribute to architecture, design, reliability, scaling, coding standards, code reviews, testing, and operations.
- Participate in hiring and mentor engineers.
- Support knowledge sharing and communicate clearly with internal and external groups.
Requirements
- Professional, non-internship software development experience is required.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is required.
- Experience delivering complex software systems to customers is preferred.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader is preferred.
