Responsibilities
- Develop automotive embedded software using Embedded C.
- Design, develop, customize, and enhance AUTOSAR Basic Software modules beyond configuration and integration.
- Implement and maintain low-level drivers and hardware abstraction layers.
- Develop and integrate CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, XCP, and UDS communication stacks.
- Perform system-level debugging with debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and related validation tools.
- Analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize embedded applications.
- Collaborate with system architects, hardware teams, and software engineers on integration.
- Create and maintain architecture, design, and technical documentation using Arc42 and UML.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- 5–12 years of experience.
- Strong Embedded C programming experience.
- Hands-on experience developing, customizing, and enhancing AUTOSAR BSW.
- Understanding of CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, XCP, and UDS protocols.
- Experience with low-level driver development and embedded software debugging.
- Proficiency with debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and validation tools.
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, real-time systems, and embedded software architecture.
- Experience documenting architecture and designs using Arc42, UML, or similar frameworks.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Automotive ECU software development experience is highly preferred.
