Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve the resiliency of business applications on the accounting platform.
- Lead development of enterprise-scale mainframe applications supporting high-volume, time-critical fund accounting and Net Asset Value processing.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, developers, development managers, business partners, architecture leads, and risk team members.
- Identify and complete opportunities for automation.
- Support continuous improvement of application development and support processes.
- Promote agile application development where appropriate and meet commitments to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related area.
- At least 4 years of experience in a large financial services organization.
- Required experience with mainframe application development and PL/I, COBOL, CICS, SQL, JCL, and DB2.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a development team.
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile or Industrialized Agile is preferred.
