
Collateral Management Senior Software Engineer, VP

Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, deploy, upgrade, and maintain enterprise systems across multiple platforms.
- Build and operate cloud-native services on Azure and migrate enterprise applications and data platforms to Azure, Databricks, and AKS.
- Develop backend and frontend applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Migrate legacy Spark and Scala Hadoop jobs to PySpark on Azure Databricks.
- Design event-driven architectures and real-time integration pipelines using Kafka, Redis, Spark, Hive, and Impala.
- Build reusable React components and user interfaces from designs and wireframes.
- Support, monitor, troubleshoot, and tune production systems, including major incident response, impact analysis, root-cause analysis, and backend query performance.
- Set up and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins and Harness.
- Provide subject matter expertise across platforms, technologies, and systems while collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and development teams.
- Lead technology development activities and participate in Agile meetings and rapid development schedules.
- Ensure changes are tested and comply with State Street standards, procedures, and software development practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT or software development experience.
- Solid experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining large, complex, distributed enterprise applications.
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, and AKS.
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle, JavaScript, Kafka, Scala, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
- Experience with application and web servers including IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, or Tomcat.
- Experience with Spring Boot Actuator for production application monitoring and management.
- Working knowledge of Autosys, CRON, or Quartz Job Scheduler.
- Familiarity with SOAP and RESTful APIs, MQ, database concepts, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Experience with web, MQ, cloud development, n-tier application architecture, and debugging distributed enterprise systems.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and strong collaboration and communication skills.
- State Street SDLC experience and banking domain experience are preferred.
- Ability to work independently with strong work ethics.
