Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, backend services, and database structures.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior developers, provide technical support, conduct code reviews, and promote development best practices.
- Contribute to application architecture, design discussions, and technology decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues while maintaining platform stability and performance.
- Optimize application and database performance through efficient coding and query optimization.
- Support cloud-based deployments and collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD and release activities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain development documentation and standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in web application development using PHP and related technologies.
- Expert experience with PHP, Laravel, SQL, MySQL, relational database design, and database optimization.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and jQuery.
- Experience with enterprise application development, application architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Experience guiding developers, handling technical challenges, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
