Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements requiring organizational change.
- Develop business requirements and software solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
- Build scalable, high-throughput, low-latency applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, SQL Server, and event-driven architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs and expectations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and support business cases, project progress reporting, operational design, and process design.
- Support change management and implementation activities, including development of traceability matrices.
- Analyze complex information, communicate findings, influence stakeholders, and contribute to risk management and control improvements.
- Collaborate with teams, guide team members, and continuously improve technical knowledge and service quality.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java 11+/17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, SQL Server, and object-oriented design.
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and Apache Kafka.
- Experience building high-throughput, low-latency, scalable applications.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns and cloud-native development practices.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Minimum graduation degree is required.
- Exposure to financial services or investment banking environments is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and within a team with minimal guidance, act as a subject matter expert, and identify root causes and service improvements.
