Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain NetSuite customizations, integrations, workflows, reports, templates, and UI enhancements.
- Develop SuiteScript applications including Client, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, and RESTlet scripts.
- Build and support REST and SOAP integrations, data migrations, ETL jobs, synchronization processes, error handling, transaction retries, and automated logging.
- Manage development, sandbox, and production environments using SDF, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, optimize script performance and queue management, and maintain security, SOX, segregation-of-duties, permissions, and audit controls.
- Partner with business analysts, financial systems architects, and accounting and finance stakeholders to create technical specifications.
- Provide tier-3 production support, investigate critical defects, and resolve release-upgrade compatibility issues.
- Lead technical solution designs, mentor junior team members, and drive end-to-end integration with enterprise systems.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP development and administration experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to the Oracle NetSuite ecosystem.
- Expert proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 and strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, Node.js, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, and FreeMarker.
- Experience developing RESTlets, SuiteTalk SOAP/REST Web Services, and integrations using Dell Boomi, Celigo, or MuleSoft.
- In-depth knowledge of SuiteQL, SQL, relational database design, and query optimization.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket or GitHub, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and NetSuite SDF.
- Deep understanding of NetSuite financial and ERP processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, revenue recognition, multi-book accounting, fixed assets, and global consolidations.
- Experience working in regulated banking, FinTech, or financial services environments with strict compliance and audit controls.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance/Accounting Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer II, NetSuite Certified Application Developer, or NetSuite Certified Administrator/ERP Consultant certifications are highly regarded.
