Senior Developer, IT Applications

- Design, develop, enhance, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, databases, data-processing solutions, and web-based systems.
- Partner with architects, business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to evaluate requirements, assess feasibility, and deliver scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and sustainable corrective actions for complex application and integration issues.
- Create technical designs, architecture diagrams, process flows, standards, code documentation, implementation guides, and operational support materials.
- Provide technical leadership through solution and code reviews, testing oversight, mentoring, and promotion of software engineering best practices.
- Drive system implementations, upgrades, and integrations while meeting architecture, security, validation, governance, quality, and change-management requirements.
- Manage multiple priorities independently, make technical decisions, and guide solution design and implementation for complex enterprise initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, application engineering, systems integration, or related enterprise IT roles.
- Strong experience developing and supporting enterprise applications, web solutions, APIs, integrations, databases, and data-processing solutions.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or comparable enterprise development technologies.
- Knowledge of software architecture, SDLC, coding standards, testing methodologies, source control, secure development, quality, security, compliance, and governance practices.
- Experience with relational databases, Oracle APEX or similar low-code platforms, APIs, middleware, and enterprise integration platforms.
- Experience using AI tools to improve operational efficiency and accelerate production-ready development and delivery.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, conducting reviews, mentoring developers, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions independently.
- Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Preferred experience includes Aras PLM, PTC Windchill, AWS, Azure, modern deployment and monitoring, automation, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, stakeholder-management, and collaboration skills.
