Responsibilities
- Build strategic equity derivatives trading infrastructure with a team of eight developers.
- Analyze, redesign, and rewrite existing Excel/VBA trading and operations tools using Java or Kotlin.
- Improve controls over equity derivatives trading and operations tools.
- Manage projects end to end, including requirements gathering, development, UAT, deployment, and post-deployment user support.
- Work with Structuring and Sales desks on local and global tactical and semi-strategic platforms.
- Promote modern development practices, including test-driven development, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
- Communicate technical and business solutions to stakeholders and maintain effective relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience writing high-quality code using object-oriented or functional programming styles in Java, Kotlin, and C#.
- Experience working with developer teams in a complex global environment.
- Experience with equity derivatives products, including derivative pricing or risk management.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Up-to-date knowledge of event-driven architecture and web services.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to own the full project lifecycle and understand equity derivatives business processes.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is advantageous.
- A growth mindset and adaptability to agile development are required.
