Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-friendly graphical user interfaces and interactive dashboards.
- Design, deploy, manage, and optimize applications and infrastructure in AWS.
- Integrate new features, functionality, and existing software into established tools and operating environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows and resolve software problem reports.
- Integrate AI/ML models into existing systems and monitor model and workflow performance.
- Analyze requirements, design and code software, debug defects, and develop algorithms and database interfaces.
- Review and test software components, document test results, and provide software and system documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide input on system design, software reuse, requirements analysis, and hardware/software tradeoffs.
- Serve as a team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a Maryland polygraph is required.
- Seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline is required, with four additional years of relevant software engineering experience accepted as a substitute.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required; TypeScript is preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is required.
- Experience with responsive and accessible web interfaces, AWS core services, Infrastructure as Code, Python automation, and workflow orchestration tools is required.
- Basic experience integrating AI/ML models into applications and understanding CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud security best practices is required.
- Experience with Git, unit testing, integration testing, databases, software design, and software development methodologies is expected.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are required.
