Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate the hardware lifecycle for critical lidar, radar, camera, and compute modules.
- Develop and deploy agentic systems and foundation models to streamline workflows between internal teams and contract manufacturers.
- Identify AI applications for manufacturing, installation, and troubleshooting processes.
- Collaborate with hardware design engineers, failure analysis engineers, diagnostic teams, field technicians, and operations stakeholders to translate physical requirements into technical specifications.
- Bridge experimental machine-learning models and high-scale production environments.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in machine learning, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Proven track record of delivering working engineering solutions while balancing scientific rigor with production needs.
- Experience training, evaluating, and deploying machine-learning models at scale.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Hands-on experience or deep familiarity with agentic tools and frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale foundation models, including LLMs and VLMs, and fine-tuning them for specialized domains is preferred.
- Background automating industrial or hardware-centric workflows is preferred.
- Familiarity with hardware diagnostics, failure analysis, or manufacturing processes is preferred.
