Responsibilities
- Migrate live services onto the new Azure cloud without disrupting current production systems.
- Provide day-to-day operational support and incident response during the migration programme.
- Author and maintain production-grade Terraform and Bicep modules with testing, validation, versioning, and automated drift detection and remediation.
- Design Azure landing zones, hub-and-spoke network architectures, private endpoint patterns, and hybrid connectivity using ExpressRoute and VPN gateways.
- Build shared integration infrastructure for partner and AI-tool integrations.
- Define and roll out golden paths to reduce delivery costs and accelerate engineering teams.
- Establish AI platform foundations including an AI gateway, observability stack, AI-tool hosting, and model access through AWS Bedrock.
- Build and maintain infrastructure pipelines with security scanning, plan validation, and approval gates.
- Implement role-based access control using Entra ID, managed identities, and service principals.
Requirements
- Hands-on Azure platform experience spanning landing zones, networking, identity, and storage.
- Production experience with Terraform and/or Bicep, including migration between the two.
- Practical experience with hub-and-spoke networking, private endpoints, DNS integration, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience building end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with automated security and compliance gates.
- Strong understanding of Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and Azure subscription and management-group hierarchies.
- Experience owning both migration delivery and associated operational support.
- Ability to communicate design decisions and trade-offs through engineering briefs and architectural decision records.
- Relevant Azure certifications, such as AZ-104 or AZ-305.
- Experience hosting AI workloads, including AI gateways, observability, and model access through AWS Bedrock.
- Experience building golden paths or internal developer platforms.
- Experience in a similar fintech or financial-services environment.
