Responsibilities
- Gather system requirements from end users, IT teams, and key stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications and workflows on ServiceNow.
- Integrate machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics solutions across ServiceNow modules.
- Manage application development activities including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Design custom and product-based ServiceNow solutions based on functional and technical requirements.
- Configure REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and other applications.
- Implement and validate service-map impact assessment rules with technical SMEs and stakeholders.
- Participate in user acceptance testing for service maps, impact rules, and event management work.
- Promote update sets and data across applicable ServiceNow environments.
- Remediate production incidents related to the assigned scope.
- Coordinate with the existing ServiceNow technical lead to maintain consistent map and event-management patterns.
- Lead, coach, and mentor software engineers supporting customer professional services projects.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience supporting ServiceNow implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development across two or more capabilities.
- Experience with ServiceNow Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, Performance Analytics, and other AI modules.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using MID servers and cloud-to-cloud integrations.
- Experience with SOAP, REST, and bidirectional automated system integrations.
- Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC or with ETL integrations.
- Experience implementing ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Software Asset Management, ITSM, Service Catalog, and Workflows.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Willingness and ability to continue ServiceNow education and complete competency certifications and module accreditations.
- Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation and ServiceNow CSA and CAD.
