Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Pega applications and digital workflows for enterprise business stakeholders.
- Lead Pega upgrades, including impact analysis, configuration refactoring, regression support, rule remediation, and post-upgrade optimization.
- Configure Pega frameworks, case management, data components, integration components, business rules, flows, and user interface behavior.
- Develop technical designs, conduct code reviews and solution walkthroughs, and maintain upgrade runbooks, configuration baselines, and integration contracts.
- Troubleshoot production and lower-environment issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance, data access, rules, and caching.
- Collaborate with analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams and guide peers on Pega best practices, testing, integration, and case design.
Requirements
- Six to eight years of professional Pega application development experience focused on enterprise solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with Pega case types, flows, data transforms, activities, decision rules, and user interface rules.
- Experience leading Pega upgrade initiatives, including version assessment, rule remediation, regression support, and performance validation.
- Knowledge of Pega frameworks, integration patterns, connectors, services, and data pages.
- Experience configuring Pega case management stages, processes, service-level rules, and routing logic.
- Familiarity with check processing or related payment operations is beneficial.
- Experience with hybrid collaboration practices and day-shift operations.
- Strong unit testing, defect resolution, peer review, analytical, problem-solving, secure coding, privacy, and compliance skills.
