Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of full-stack and AI-powered applications.
- Build secure backend services and APIs using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs, along with frontend applications using Angular, React, Blazor, or Vue.js.
- Develop generative and agentic AI applications using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, AI agents, tool calling, structured outputs, and Model Context Protocol integrations.
- Design data pipelines and integrations across relational, non-relational, analytical, streaming, and vector data sources.
- Deploy containerized, cloud-native applications using Azure, GCP, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Establish CI/CD, automated testing, code-quality validation, security scanning, observability, production readiness, and operational support practices.
- Implement authentication, authorization, secrets management, encryption, privacy, responsible AI, threat analysis, and safeguards against unsafe or unauthorized AI behavior.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, and improve reliability, performance, cost, and user experience.
- Own complex technical outcomes, influence architecture and engineering standards, conduct design and code reviews, and mentor associate and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade enterprise applications and owning complex features, services, or applications through production support.
- Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET or ASP.NET Core, with experience in APIs, microservices, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, testing, and enterprise software design.
- Production experience with at least one of Angular, React, Blazor, or Vue.js, plus HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI or machine-learning capabilities into enterprise applications, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, AI agents, tool calling, AI evaluation, and responsible AI.
- Strong SQL and query-optimization skills, with experience using relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL and working knowledge of non-relational, caching, or vector databases.
- Experience developing and deploying cloud-native solutions on Azure, GCP, AWS, or an equivalent platform, including Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release controls, logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting, distributed tracing, incident response, and production troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, RBAC, OAuth, OpenID Connect, tokens, certificates, secrets management, encryption, privacy, data governance, and application security.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Copilot, agentic AI, MCP, Python, Java, Scala, PySpark, vector databases, knowledge graphs, MLOps or LLMOps, infrastructure as code, platform engineering, and industrial or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong technical ownership, architecture judgment, communication, collaboration, mentoring, analytical ability, and ability to influence without formal authority.
