Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network and cloud cybersecurity solutions for complex problems.
- Select, deploy, maintain, monitor, patch, and optimize cybersecurity tools and automate repetitive tasks.
- Build alerting systems, streamline security architectures, and conduct user experience testing for changes.
- Detect and respond to technical security issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Use AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot to automate tasks, optimize workflows, and improve troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation and training materials, act as a subject matter expert, and support cross-training.
- Deliver security projects, resiliency programs, integrations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts within scope, time, and budget.
- Collaborate across teams and create diagrams, timelines, and procedural documentation for initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of cybersecurity experience.
- At least 2 years of direct experience selecting, designing, deploying, maintaining, and operating cybersecurity tools.
- At least 2 years of direct engineering experience with network and cloud security solutions such as IDS, IPS, WAF, DDoS mitigation, CDN, SIEM, SWG, SASE, ZTNA, and CASB.
- Working knowledge of networking, cloud security concepts, cybersecurity frameworks, and networking fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Critical Security Controls, NIST 800-53, SOX, GLBA, and GDPR.
- Experience with secure design principles and cybersecurity capabilities.
- Automation experience with Python, scripts, Ansible, Salt, or similar tools is desired.
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
- Security, cloud, operating system, and network certifications are listed as preferred or equivalent qualifications, including Security+, CASP+, GSEC, SSCP, CDPSE, GIAC/SANS, CCSP, CCSK, Cloud+, AWS, GCP, Azure, MCSE, RHCE, Linux+, Server+, Network+, CCIE, CCNA, and CCNP.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, adaptability, stakeholder engagement, and judgment skills.
