Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, tune, and continuously improve production-grade AI agents.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through production deployment and iteration.
- Partner directly with enterprise and startup leaders to understand business challenges and develop scalable AI-agent solutions.
- Prototype tools and features, surface customer needs, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
- Develop agent frameworks, self-service capabilities, new agent architectures, and integrations with voice models.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and the ability to ship creative solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production, working as a founder or founding engineer, or interfacing with customers and external stakeholders.
- Preferred familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
