Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term technical architecture for trading automation and backend platforms.
- Translate complex business problems into clear technical roadmaps.
- Architect scalable, event-driven systems optimized for high throughput and reliability.
- Mentor senior engineers and guide tech leads to elevate engineering standards.
- Drive automation in post-trade and middle-office workflows to reduce operational risk.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience at a Staff, Principal, or cross-team Lead level.
- Proven ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in building distributed, high-performance backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in core backend languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Java.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and data pipelines.
