Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications related to Workato Recipe runtime.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of distributed applications.
- Build, extend, troubleshoot, and fix complex Golang/Ruby applications.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Integrate various data storage solutions like Postgres, S3, and Redis.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Provide code reviews and technical leadership.
- Evaluate and propose improvements to existing systems.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions.
- Help maintain code quality and organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in building scalable distributed backend applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems patterns and algorithms.
- Knowledge of databases, load balancers, application servers, and message brokers.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages, primarily Ruby and Go.
- Basic understanding of cloud deployments and public cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
