Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of platform architecture.
- Design microservices and platform features from concept to production.
- Create technical designs and develop proof-of-concepts in Golang.
- Architect secure, fault-tolerant systems with automated failover.
- Analyze existing system architecture and plan for legacy component replacement.
- Review and approve architectural designs from engineering teams.
- Lead architecture review sessions and facilitate technical decision-making.
- Mentor engineers on architectural best practices.
- Write comprehensive technical documentation and create visual system diagrams.
- Design zero-downtime migration strategies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems.
- 3+ years in System/Platform Architect roles.
- Strong hands-on Golang coding skills.
- Experience with microservice environments and monolithic applications.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like gRPC and Kafka.
- Familiarity with security protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with systems handling millions of requests/events per day.
- Exceptional technical writing and communication abilities.
- Ability to facilitate architectural decision-making.
