Base Salary
$142k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the global architecture blueprint and technology decision trees for enterprise analytical and AI platforms across OCI, GCP, and Azure.
- Architect and deploy metadata control planes, automated data catalogs, schema tracking, lineage, data quality observability, developer toolboxes, and context-as-code capabilities.
- Design enterprise AI infrastructure standards involving vector databases, knowledge graphs, feature stores, RAG pipelines, Gemini solutions, and autonomous AI agents.
- Define and enforce universal security models with ABAC, fine-grained masking, Okta and Active Directory integration, and SRE-style observability.
- Lead and mentor the Data Platform Engineering squad and partner with HR on technical career progression and competency matrices.
- Present architectural blueprints to executive sponsors and guide technology decisions across data, analytics, AI/LLM, DevOps, and APEX engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure design, including 3+ years leading technical teams in a global enterprise context.
- Expertise with OCI, GCP, Azure, Oracle ADW, Databricks, and Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake.
- Mastery of Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, Kafka/Confluent streaming, CDC/GoldenGate, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions or GitLab CI deployment pipelines.
- Direct experience architecting enterprise AI/ML infrastructure, including vector databases, knowledge graphs, feature stores, RAG pipelines, and enterprise LLM integrations such as Gemini.
- Proven experience with ABAC, row-level security, Okta/Active Directory integrations, mentoring technical talent, strategic leadership, communication, and executive presentations.
