Base Salary
$110k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features and see them through to production.
- Write clean, secure, readable, and scalable code.
- Collaborate with team members across various disciplines.
- Integrate and build for external and internal APIs.
- Develop new products in Python and modify existing code.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and design database schemas.
- Create and code complex backend algorithms.
- Ensure cross-device and cross-platform functionality.
- Ship code frequently in an agile environment.
- Engage with the product and mission beyond development tasks.
Requirements
- Must be able to legally work in the US.
- 5+ years of experience in web development.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL and relational database design.
- Deep understanding of web development concepts.
- Demonstrable experience with full-stack projects.
- Ability to design and launch web applications from start to finish.
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with web and SQL security best practices.
- Comfortable working outside the context of a framework.
- Experience using git in a team environment.
