Senior Guidewire Developer (BillingCenter)
Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Configure Guidewire BillingCenter entities, workflows, rules, UI, and product models.
- Translate business and functional requirements into BillingCenter configuration and integration designs.
- Implement and support integrations with enterprise systems using web services, REST APIs, messaging, and batch processes.
- Contribute to data mapping, transformation, migration scripts, test data preparation, and migrated-data validation.
- Create design documents, configuration workbooks, interface specifications, and deployment checklists.
- Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing by analyzing defects and delivering configuration fixes.
- Participate in estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and global knowledge-sharing activities.
- Use Guidewire tools, automation, and responsible AI capabilities to improve delivery productivity and quality.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of overall IT experience, including hands-on implementation or enhancement of core insurance systems for P&C insurers.
- Hands-on Guidewire BillingCenter experience on at least one implementation or major enhancement, preferably in a configuration or integration role.
- Understanding of P&C claims processes including FNOL, coverage verification, reserving, litigation, recoveries, subrogation, and closure.
- Experience with BillingCenter data models, workflows, rules, exposure and claim segments, and user roles and permissions.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP web services, messaging, batch processing, and file-based enterprise interfaces.
- Experience with data migration activities such as source-to-target mapping, data cleansing, test data setup, and validation.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum and Professional Services or consulting environments with global, cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to use AI and data-driven insights to support innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Guidewire BillingCenter certification, such as BillingCenter Specialist or Ace – BillingCenter Configuration/Integration, is preferred.
- Experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ContactManager, cloud modernization, SaaS or multi-tenant implementations, or global consulting and system integrator environments is preferred.
