Base Salary
$230k - $340k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship production code while maintaining a strategic perspective.
- Partner with EM, PM, and cross-functional leads to set the roadmap and drive technical decision-making.
- Elevate engineering quality and effectiveness through code review and mentorship.
- Proactively identify opportunities and misalignment within EPD and the roadmap.
- Design systems that balance security, usability, and performance while enhancing user experiences.
- Operate in both data-driven and intuitive decision-making modes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year in AI generative technologies.
- Experience with CRDTs/YJS, LLMs, image models, WebSockets, and streaming.
- Familiarity with context engineering, agent development, and AI patterns.
- Deep expertise in building complex, collaborative, real-time web apps with TypeScript and React.
- Strong communication skills and experience influencing technical strategy across teams.
- High emotional intelligence with a growth mindset that promotes psychological safety.
