Responsibilities
- Prototype ambiguous interaction and device-capability concepts directly in iOS code.
- Build tangible mobile experiences that help teams evaluate early ideas.
- Apply iOS platform standards and capabilities, including WidgetKit, App Intents, Live Activities, and Shortcuts.
- Create reusable interaction patterns and prototyping tools for teams across the iOS app.
- Conduct training and document workflows so designers can prototype directly in mobile codebases.
- Partner with designers and engineers to provide technical and creative guidance on native and custom solutions.
- Use data and learnings from shipped features to improve prototyping tools and craft decisions.
- Evangelize new prototyping practices and drive adoption across the design organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience at the intersection of product design and iOS engineering.
- Deep hands-on fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
- Track record of building working code-based prototypes for ambiguous concepts.
- Deep, current knowledge of iOS platform standards, Apple HIG, and native frameworks.
- Experience creating tools, documentation, or training that help designers and engineers improve their craft.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and evangelism skills, including comfort with ambiguous cross-team problems.
- Familiarity with or interest in agentic and AI-assisted coding tools and teaching design teams to use them.
- Ability to balance technical depth, design craft, proactive communication, and organization-wide enablement.

- The stated annual base salary range is $171,200-$273,000, or $205,800-$298,400 in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan-area locations; bonus, equity, and benefits are excluded from these ranges.
